How do I pay for my purchase?

On Copart.fi website you can pay the lot and additional fees straight from your Member Portal. You can easily find your payments due and payment history on your Dashboard. Copart Finland offers convenient payment options.

What are the payment options?

  • Card payment or bank transfer through your Copart account (money transfer can take up to 5 minutes)

  • Mobile Payment

  • Buy now, Pay later services

  • Bank Transfer separately through your online bank (money transfer can take up to 2-4 days)

  • Card Payment at yard (at Copart locations)

Can I pay with cash?

We do not accept cash payments.

Will I receive an invoice for the item I won in my email?

No. You can see the invoices in your Memberportal where you can also pay the vehicles immediately. Log in and go to Payments and Payments Due.

Which price is shown on the bid button? Do I need to calculate the fees separately?

Copart Finland’s lot prices include taxes. Lots’ tax rates are indicated on the sale information. Fees are not included to the price that is shown on the bid button. To get a detailed overview of all fees, please see our fee table.

Do I pay my maximum bid amount when awarded a vehicle?

For preliminary bidders, the maximum bid amount may not be what you pay. If you are the high bidder during the auction and the auction bids do not meet or exceed your maximum bid, you are awarded the vehicle for the high bid amount.

If I won a vehicle, how long do I have before payment is due?

You have 2 business days (including the date when you get the invoice) to settle the account. Payment needs to be visible at Copart Suomi Oy within 2 business days before Copart charges a Late payment fee according to the fee table.

What happens, if I won a vehicle but I don't submit the payment?

If Copart Suomi Oy didn’t receive the full payment in 7 calendar days, the lot will be relisted automatically, and the buyer pays the relist fee according to the fee table.

How do I know if I have due payments?

Log in and go to Payments > Payments Due. You can also find the due payments on your Dashboard.

Payment Service Provider

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant.
For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.

Online banking

You can use all Finnish banks with either the eBanking interfaces or open banking interfaces offered by the banks. You can pay with any of the online Finnish banks: Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP Bank, Säästöpankki, S-pankki and Ålandsbanken. Paytrail Oyj will appear on your statement as the payee, we will forward your payment to the online business. From the online store, you will be redirected to your own bank to make a payment securely.

Cards

You can pay online with Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, and Mastercard Debit cards. The online store uses international authentication services Verified by Visa and Mastercard SecureCode SafeKey. Paytrail Oyj appears as the payee on the card statement and forwards the card payment paid by the consumer directly to the merchant. Card payments are made securely using a secure payment form, and card information is not stored in e-commerce systems.

Mobile payments

Mobile payment application MobilePay enables you to pay for online purchases by online bank transfer or card payment by accepting the payment in the application. Apple Pay is a digital wallet that works on Apple devices and Google Pay is a digital wallet that works on Android devices allowing you to pay for purchases using saved card information. 

Buy now, pay later

Buy now, pay later services through Paytrail are provided by OP Tililuotto, OP Lasku and Walley for both consumers and companies. When you accept the payment, please read the specific terms for each finance company. By accepting the payment, you are also accepting the terms and conditions of the finance company. Terms and conditions are provided by the finance companies and are only in Finnish.
